Join people all over the world who are doing their part for Coastal Cleanup Day! This yearly event was started in California as a statewide initiative to keep our beaches free from debris and it has since grown to include inland areas, like Sonoma, since so much of the garbage that ends up in the ocean begins its journey in creeks and rivers, just like ours. Come out and enjoy the company of like-minded people from our communities who are participating in the Creek Cleanups at Nathanson Creek Preserve (10:00 am – 12:00 pm) and Larson Park (10:00 am – 1:00 pm) on Saturday, September 17.

Dumpsters will be made available at the Larson Park Cleanup. Bring large furniture such as tables, and sofas to dispose of
