Tile Making at Sonoma Garden Park

Join Sonoma Ecology Center, Sonoma Garden Park, Sonoma Community Center and ceramicist Amanda Bury for a hands-on clay workshop inspired by the natural beauty of Sonoma Garden Park. Wander the garden to gather leaves, blooms, and sprigs, then press them into clay tiles and paint with colored slip. As the plants are removed, a delicate imprint remains—capturing a moment in time through nature and art. Finished tiles will be glaze-fired at Sonoma Ceramics and returned to the park for all to enjoy.

This workshop is FREE and registration is not required. Attendees are welcome to drop in between 9:00 am-1:00 pm—you do not need to stay the entire time in order to participate.
