What is the “Sugar Shuttle”?
The “Sugar Shuttle” is a rideshare van which allows experienced hikers to hike one-way between one of Sonoma County’s State Parks and one of its Regional Parks–while avoiding time-consuming transportation arrangements with your hiking friends (eg: we’ll follow you to trail’s end at 7am to leave your car, pick you up, and meet the others at the trailhead by 8am. Let’s hope squishing together in your 4-seater after our sweaty hike isn’t a problem!).
There are 3 routes–only one of which operates each weekend. Click the route tabs below to see each weekend’s schedule.
NOTE: the “Sugar Shuttle” typically operates only on the 2nd weekend each month. However, October 2018 is SHUTTLE MONTH—with service each weekend day all month long! Click here to let us know how this shuttle every weekend experiment works for you!
