This 8-mile out-and-back trek takes you along the North Slope Sonoma Mountain Trail\, a beautiful and challenging route that climbs 1\,532 feet through oak woodlands\, grassy meadows\, and redwood groves before rewarding hikers with sweeping vistas of Sonoma Valley and beyond.

This event is inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin Yoku\, which means “forest bathing.” Forest Bathing is the intentional practice of slowing down and immersing oneself in the sights\, sounds\, smells\, and sensations of the natural world in order to restore wellbeing and deepen our relationship with nature. While walking at a relaxed pace and seated\, a series of guided invitations will awaken the senses bringing personal connection to the land.
